They call these models economy of sharing, economy of collaboration, collaborative consumption .Some do it by ideology and others by necessity. But its impact grows every day in many countries. The popular business angel Ron Conway spoke of this type of behavior as 'mega trend', according to one of the reference websites of collaborative consumption, Shareable (Sharing by design). And its impact on the global economy has not only been noticed in the amount of money that companies start to move based on collaborative consumption. It has also done so in reducing carbon emissions and solid waste, the money saved, the new relationships that are being created and greater access by citizens to resources that they could not otherwise enjoy.
